Notes:
1. The distance measurements begin at the trailhead of Bureau Junction and end at the trailhead of Colona, but you may see some businesses listed beyond the trailheads of these towns. We try to list all the types of businesses you requested at all towns along your route, even if you would have to travel beyond the starting or ending trailhead to get there.
What's missing?
If you know of a service along the trail that's missing from our database, please
let us know

Download your trip planner info in a
GPX
or
KML
file. GPX and KML files can be imported into many mapping apps, such as Strava, RideWithGPS, etc. KML is ideal for Google Earth.
GPX with track only (just the route)
GPX with waypoints only (just the businesses)
GPX with track plus businesses as waypoints
KML format
Notes on GPX files
Notes on GPX files:
To import into RideWithGPS, select
Jump to > Upload
and locate or drag/drop your file. Select
Save as Route
To import into Strava, click the plus sign in the upper right corner, Select
Upload Activity
, locate your file, click
Svae and view
Strava requires times to be assigned to points along your route, so we assigned one minute for every tenth of a mile. We know you may ride faster than that, but we had to do this to make Strava accept the GPX file
Notes on KML files
Notes on KML files:
The KML data works best with the Google Earth Pro app. Not all functionality will be included when using the Google Earth website
To import your route in Google Earth, select
File > Import
and locate your file
There are three types of data: Distance Markers, Start/Stop locations, and Businesses/services. Any of these three can be hidden by unchecking their box in the left panel. Or to remove a data type entirely, right click its heading in the left panel, and select
Delete
The map can only show one icon per business, for example the restaurant icon appears for all restaurants. If a business offers more than one type of service, you can see all the relevant icons - and other business details - by clicking on the business name or its icon
